Galleries Galore!
Spring Creek is home to several excellent gallery spaces. The newest gallery, Art Country Canada’s framing studio, is definitely worth taking the time to go inside and browse.
Owner Angelo Avlonitis has chosen spectacular paintings to display at his second location in Canmore.
The Daily Grind
The Pulse Coffee Bar + General Store – located inside the Malcolm Hotel, will pleasantly surprise you. With an excellent roast from Calgary’s Rosso Coffee Roasters served up daily, or a specialty drink of your choice, you are well equipped for a stroll along Policeman’s Creek.
The General Store features a curated selection of gifts and keepsakes that includes local artists and a few things you might need on vacation in the Rocky Mountains.
Treat Yourself
The shops in Spring Creek have something special just for you!
Whether it is a private fitness training session with Danielle Findlay Pilates & Wellness, or some sweet new ink from Aurora Tattoos, you can treat yourself right in Spring Creek. We also recommend Skin RNI for life-changing skincare services and Hillary & Co. Salon for all your head and hair needs.
Did we mention all these businesses are owned by women entrepreneurs in our community?
Seize the Clay
Are you looking for that perfect gift? Something that is unique, but also reasonably priced? Look no further than Of Cabbages and Kings Pottery Studio. The salt rocks and to-go mugs are one-of-a-kind while the tea pots and butter dishes are hard to resist.
All handmade works of art!
Snacks! Snacks!
Red Gables Deli – feeling peckish, but not sure what you want? Or do you know exactly what you need to satisfy your food craving? Chances are Red Gables Delis has it.
Don’t forget to bring your own bag, because we guarantee you will need it once you start shopping for a delicious snack at this store.
A Pool with a View
The Malcolm Hotel has a rooftop pool that is worth checking in to check out. The pool and two accompanying hot tubs have a stunning view of the Three Sisters and Mount Rundle. This cool dip is for hotel guests only.
Even Air Canada considers it worth the trip, naming this plunge one of 10 Canadian pools to plan a trip around.
Knowledge & Selection
A certified sommelier, Kevin hand selects craft & import beers, wines and spirits at Spring Creek Cellars. He is more than happy to provide advice and recommendations from the many smaller vintages and producers of reputation.

Great Eats!
With the addition of bridgette bar to the Spring Creek neighbourhood, the selection for those looking for something tasty to eat or drink just got more interesting. This chef-driven bar has everything from a light snack, to a full meal and delivers on its reputation for signature craft cocktails. If you are looking for the neighbourhood pub, we highly recommend the Mineshaft Tavern (and the fish and chips!).
Finally, for a silver star experience, you can’t go wrong with The Sterling in the Malcolm Hotel.
