Spring Creek environmental policy – administration office

Spring Creek is committed to environmental sustainability. Within the administration office, all cardboard, paper, and beverage containers must be placed in their designated recycling bins. As part of orientation, all employees will be informed of the recycling program, and signage throughout the office will direct employees to the recycling containers.

Spring Creek’s policy is to use only energy efficient LED lighting within the administration office, and the office is cooled and heated by environmentally friendly geo-exchange. Further, there are bike parking stalls on-site and the office is directly adjacent to Canmore’s extensive bike trail network. As the office is centrally located within Canmore, employees are encouraged to bike or walk to the office when possible and weather permitting.
