The Landscape Lead Hand will oversee the daily tasks and lead a crew(s) in the Landscape Construction throughout the Spring Creek Development.

REQUIREMENTS

The person in this role requires experience in all aspects of Landscape Construction. Experience in leading a crew or supervisory experience is required. A background with some formal worker safety training would be beneficial. A minimum Alberta Class 5 valid driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract are required for this position. Experience operating equipment such as skid steers, dump trucks, excavators, and bins trucks would be an asset.

DUTIES

The duties of this position include, but are not limited to:

•  Direct and supervise the work of the Landscape crew in their daily tasks.
• Proficient in reading Landscape plans and good understanding of grading & elevations.
• Ensure daily employee safety documentation is completed and reviewed, including Field Level Hazard Assessments.
• Maintain the Maintenance Logbooks for vehicles and equipment that fall under the Landscape fleet.
• Work on landscaping projects and with a focus on meeting schedules & timelines.
• Help keep the Maintenance Shop clean and orderly.
• Maintain the general cleanliness of the vehicles and equipment.
