The Maintenance Worker is responsible for repairs in guest rooms, public areas, and the administrative offices.
REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will bring extensive knowledge of all hotel issues, how they can be prevented and how to repair them. Must have a minimum 1 year of hotel maintenance experience.
They must be able to lift 50lbs and push up to 100lbs. Must be available to work various shifts including weekends and holidays.
Must have minimum high school diploma or equivalent. Preference will be given to those with tickets or other related certificates.
DUTIES
The duties of this position include but are not limited to:
Responding to all maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner.
Responding to requests and performing duties of a groundskeeper in all weather conditions.
Completing work order requests in an efficient manner.
Maintaining all work areas in an orderly and clean condition.
Inspecting public areas daily for any issues.
Providing maintenance repairs to guestrooms, public areas, and administrative offices.
Making repairs which may include plumbing, electrical, heating, cooling ventilation, furnishings and fixtures, painting, wall cover repairs, light carpentry, door, and window repairs.
